It's almost summer vacation time, and about 59 percent of Americans say they have travel plans. Wherever they go, they are certain to take thousands of pictures of themselves with the local furniture: Mt. Rushmore, the London Bridge, Notre Dame, and so on.

Now and again, that tourist attraction just begs you to play along in the photo. "Prop me up," demands the Leaning Tower of Pisa. "Kiss me," whispers the Sphinx."Pinch me," says the Taj Mahal. Here's a tribute to some of the most hackneyed tourist shots in the world. How many of these are you guilty of posing for?
